Congratulations to Nu Le, Financial Systems Analyst at Crest Operations, on her induction into Culture Corps! Nu is a great example of owning doing the right thing and winning together. She is very active with our teams both in the office and at community events to support charities and organizations in central Louisiana. s Help Desk Manager, Curtis is integral to our company and has key support for all of our team members. He truly lives our values each day by rising to the challenges he and our team members face, thinking outside the box, and leading our IT Help Desk to solve the problems others shy away from. He has stepped up to the plate during times of transition, policy change, and process implementation. His teammate and nominator, Daylon Bozeman, shared that “Curtis is an exemplary person to work alongside. He is constantly providing valuable input regarding decisions about our infrastructure and how we can better support all of the business units. His work ethic is unparalleled. While taking on new roles, Curtis is also pursuing additional certifications to allow him to progress. Since joining our Crest Family, Kyla has consistently proven to be a dedicated, passionate, and talented addition to our teams. She has stepped up in the face of challenges and new opportunities, and our teams are better for it. Logan's coworkers and supervisors have commented about how his positive attitude, willingness to help, and ability to tackle new challenges have positively impacted Beta, Crest Industries as a whole, and the people around him. Marcus Miller shares that he has been “an amazing resource full of knowledge[…],” and how he believes he is “in a better position to perform my job duties today because of the kindness and willingness to aid that Logan has provided me.” Chris Willcut explains that whether it’s working with other teams to expand his knowledge and abilities or working with vendors to make sure they stay on schedule and within their budgets, Logan is “always up to the challenge.” We are lucky to have you on our teams. Congratulations to Nikki Edwards on being inducted into the Crest Culture Corps for the month of July and being named Culture Champion! Nikki is a Talent Acquisition Specialist for Crest and works directly with the DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations’ team to recruit and retain our most valuable asset, our people. Nikki brings incredible passion to our teams across Crest Industries. For so many of Crest’s team members, Nikki is the source of encouragement, information, and support from the time they applied, to their first day on the job, and beyond. Her teammates say that she is a great example of “doing the right thing,” “winning together,” “questioning the status quo,” and “rising to the challenge.” Nikki shows true leadership by empowering and supporting our teams across Crest and goes out of her way to galvanize and celebrate her team.
Kacie is the embodiment of rising to the challenge and shows true leadership by empowering and supporting her team at MG. She encourages them to communicate effectively, build skills, and expand their work experiences to grow and pull together as a team. When presented with new ideas or projects, she asks all of the right questions to understand why things are done the way they are and if they can be done better. She often presents new ideas or methods to perform tasks, improve efficiency, or solve a problem for the company. But even more importantly, she also makes everyone feel valued and part of the team and focuses on winning together and supporting the MG and Crest Family wherever she can.
Congratulations to Jimmy Eubanks, Inventory Manager for DIS-TRAN Steel. Jimmy has been with DIS-TRAN Steel and Crest Industries for more than two decades! With his 20 years of experience, without a doubt, he is a huge asset to Crest’s team. Jimmy has many connections and has purchased steel in just about every market. However, it is Jimmy’s ability to lead through influence and live out our Crest Values that help enable DIS-TRAN Steel to succeed on an unlimited scale. Jimmy’s competitive. He’s determined and rises to every challenge. His teammates say it best, “Jimmy is Jimmy and that’s why we all like Jimmy.” Crest is thankful to have Jimmy as a member of its Crest family.
Crest is pleased to announce we have TWO Culture Champions for the month of March, Keith Henry and David Harrington from the Proposal Team at DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations. Chandra has been a part of Optimal and Crest Industries for almost 2 years, and she has made a great impact on the OFS crew in Geismar since joining the team there. During her 36-year tenure at Crest, Lisa’s left made an incredible impact. Her teammates describe her as reliable, hardworking, and always on top of her game. Lisa also has a great can-do attitude and takes an incredible level of ownership and pride in her work.
Congratulations to Justin Dickerson on being inducted into the Culture Corps for the month of July! Justin is a Factory-Built Substation Technician at DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations’ Project Support Services Center. He is a great example of both Crest and DIS-TRAN’s culture and values. His teammates say he lives out DIS-TRAN’s value of ‘Be Who You Are’ and ‘Give’ every day. Even when it is not his responsibility or no one is looking, he goes above and beyond to take care of his teammates.
